The Christian Institute believes in God as the Absolute, as He is beheld in the mind and consciousness of humanity, and as He is revealed through the presence, truth and life of Christ in the world.

We believe in one God, the absolute, supreme, omnipotent Creator. He is our Heavenly Father and in Him we live, move and have our being. God is the Spirit of life, light, love, goodness, compassion, redemption, perfection, happiness and liberty.

We believe that God lives the divine drama of the Holy Trinity in the life, mind and consciousness of humanity. He is experienced by human consciousness as the Father, Mother, Son Principles, or as the Creative Spirit, the Holy Spirit, and the Christ Spirit. As the Creator, God is the Divine Father of all. As the creative power that conceives the life, will, purpose and wisdom of the Absolute and projects them as creation, God is the Divine Mother Principle, the Cosmic Soul. As Divine Mind made manifest in creation, He is the Christ—the Creator present in creation as the Divinity, intelligence, perfection and immortality of all that is.

We believe that the Holy Trinity lives in humanity as its true identity. The Divine Father Principle lives in humanity as its spirit, the Divine Mother Principle, the Holy Spirit, lives in humanity as its soul, and the Christ Principle lives in humanity as its mind and consciousness. These triple and divine powers make humanity the fruit of creation, the Son of God, the immortal self.

We believe that humanity is the living intelligence, will, love, light and idea of God made manifest in creation. Inwardly humanity is the Child of God. Outwardly humanity is the fruit of creation. As humanity is one with its intelligence, will, love, light and idea, so God is one with humanity. As the intelligence, will, love, light and idea of humanity is its living expression, so humanity is the living likeness and expression of God.

We believe that all powers in heaven and in earth are given to humanity. They are experienced by humanity through its spiritual resurrection and the transformation of its soul, mind, nature and body.

We believe in the Gift of the Holy Spirit. This is attained through faith and the heavenly presence in humanity. Through purity of heart and soul, through renunciation of all negation, through fervent devotion and love to God, through absolute surrender to His will, purpose, and wisdom, and through constant concentration and meditation upon the indwelling Christ Self, humanity attains resurrection. This spiritual unfoldment causes the quickening of the Holy Spirit and total regeneration of one’s being. The Gift of the Holy Spirit quickens the spiritual or psychic powers in humanity, inspires it, renews its being, and initiates it to the Christ Self. It endues humanity with the power of divine healing and inner sight. It confers upon humanity the use of Divine Mind and cosmic will, and blesses humanity with the sign of the Son of God, the miraculous power of the Spirit.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.

“And on my servants, male and female, in those days, I will pour out my spirit, and they shall prophesy.”

We believe that truth, righteousness, life, immortality, perfection and goodness are the attributes of Divine Presence. Therefore, in the positiveness of life there is no falsehood, darkness, negation or evil. These assumed conditions are the creation of the lower instincts of humanity. Ignorance causes its timely effect and endurance, and its positiveness, righteousness and wisdom transform humanity. There is one presence, one life, one truth, one reality, one mind, one consciousness and one experience. It is God.

We believe in positiveness, goodness, spiritual worth, and the eternal beauty of life. Life is an immortal and all-knowing consciousness. It is the author of divine wisdom, happiness, spiritual emanation, liberty and oneness. We believe that eternal, immutable good is the only reality, and truth is the only life and power. We accept this as the conviction, foundation and guarantee of well-being.

We believe that heaven is the infinite and eternal kingdom of God, the angels and humanity. It is a celestial and holy kingdom of love, happiness, liberty and immortality. It is absolute and perfect in itself and underlies all existence. Heaven is beheld in humanity as divine nature, consciousness, inheritance and dominion. It is the infinite, spiritual expansion and power of its true being.

We believe in the power of prayer. Through prayer, concentration, meditation and mystic communion with God, one is blest beyond measure. He is sanctified, enriched, strengthened and perfected. Through prayer, the spirit is quickened divinely, and through that quickening, is blessed with the grace, love, and will of the Father.

We believe in the power of the Spoken Word. The Spoken Word is the living manifestation of the Logos, the Christ. The Spoken Word is vitalized with spiritual will, that conforms and endues things with the power that liberates, blesses, enlightens and heals. The power of positive affirmation and of words of truth write miracles in the world.

We believe in the power faith. Through divine law the power of faith resurrects the Holy Spirit in the believer. This spiritual resurrection releases the will of God, whose miraculous power never fails.

We believe in divine healing. Healing is executed through Divine will, faith, prayer and laying on of hands. All is traced to the spirit. Physical ailments have their mental and soul causes. Disturbances occuring in the creative light forces affect the physical. Healing prayer, or quickening, regenerative concentration and meditation, restores physical and soul health. Though prayers, or the Spoken Word, spiritual power is accomplished through will and laying on of hands.

We believe that Truth is all in all. The Spirit of Truth lives in all. The Spirit of Truth is all life, all power, all goodness, all positiveness, all wisdom, all love, all oneness, all reality, all universality, all individuality, all humaneness. Truth is God.
